My 6 year old lovvvees this STEM magic mixer science kit! I love that it uses items already in the house typically. However, my son loves just putting water in the cup with his own random things and using the mixer and watching with they do.This is very educational and easy to use! The mixer is all plastic but it does seem to be good quality.

I bought this for my young children and it has easily been one of the best STEM kits we’ve tried.The experiments are genuinely hands-on and exciting.The instructions are very clear and easy for us parents to follow, and the guide makes the kit feel much more educational than a typical science toy. I also love that it encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and screen-free play. My kids kept asking “why did that happen?” after each experiment, which is exactly what I hoped for from a STEM kit.Another huge plus is the quality of the materials. Everything felt thoughtfully organized and safe for younger children, and we were able to do multiple activities without needing a lot of extra supplies from home.

This science kit is great! It was the perfect addition to some homeschooling activities for our home.This kit comes with sturdy supplies like the mixer and attachments, and has fun stickers to be able to customize it a bit. The book is very high quality with thick pages, easy to turn and even wipe off if you make a bit of a mess.It comes with 123 lessons so enough to keep you busy for awhile! The lessons are set up nicely, with large titles so they are easy to find what you are looking for. It includes some standards that are covered through the Next Generation Science Standards if that is important to you in your home / classroom.It breaks it down into a full lesson:- gives a breakdown for the person organizing the lesson so they have background knowledge- setup notes to have your materials ready- a list of materials- a nice breakdown of the procedure for each experiment. These are very open and go and friendly for any instructor. Scripted text leads you through the steps, but of course feel free to go off script with learners curiosity and instructor knowledge.- It includes words for a word wall or exposure to new vocabulary- it includes some extra ways to observe / change the experiment if interest is high- follow up activities for the lab and cementing in what was learned- student pages for the student include their list of items, some questions to answer, a space to draw their observations, a spot for utilizing their new vocabulary and a spot for follow up questionsI really love this setup and think it would work great for any preschool or kindergarten small groups, a homeschool environment, or for children that passionate about science for fun.

This STEM project kit is a wonderful little activity set for young ones who love science and creative activities. Following the instructions in each section, your young one(s) will easily use the tools included to learn about how things work together when combined and/or agitated.The experiments get young minds thinking about what is possible and what might be fun to try.As I mentioned, the instructions are written for young minds to understand and follow.Don't be surprised if there is a little messiness involved. That's part of the fun, but can be avoided fairly well if that is what the little scientist wants.I'm glad to give five stars to this. It's great to get learning back to activities that don't require an app.

This is a really fun STEM kit, and while it’s definitely geared toward younger kids, my 14-year-old son still had a good time with it. Here are my thoughts:- Fun hands-on science. The tornado mixing effect is actually really cool to watch and makes simple kitchen ingredients feel like a real science experiment.- Easy to use. It’s very simple for kids to operate on their own, which is nice for independent play without needing constant help.- Good variety of experiments. There are multiple activities included, and it keeps kids engaged while introducing basic science concepts in a visual way.- Educational but fun. It does a nice job showing things like mixing, reactions, and texture changes in a way kids can actually see and understand.- Safe and parent-friendly. No sharp parts or complicated setup, and it uses everyday kitchen ingredients, which I appreciate.- Age range note. This is really best suited for younger kids around elementary age. My son who is a younger teen still enjoyed it, but it’s clearly designed more for little ones.Overall, this is a creative and engaging STEM kit that would make a great gift for younger kids who enjoy hands-on activities and experiments. I’d recommend it, it would be great for classrooms too.

Amazing!! What an amazing science kit!! If kids are interested in science, or are at an age where their interest is piqued by new and interesting things then this kit will work wonders!! Simple science experiments using things you, truly, already have in your home!! I find that impressive: I can do true science with items in my home.The kit comes with the Magic Mixer. Nearly all the experiments use this. It is really attractive for young people to use something that is motor driven and this mixer makes experiments even more interesting.The kit also comes with an instruction book. Each lesson has two pages for the “teacher” and two pages for the “student”. As an adult I really enjoy reading the straight-forward explanation of what will happen. I can know ahead of time and help our kids learn as they do the actual experiments. The “student” pages are very open ended. Questions allow for many answers and ideas. There is an empty, large framed area for pictures they can draw. One line areas for writing ideas and answers.Instruction for each experiment is excellently written, clear, concise, very easy to follow. All materials are clear and available in homes.It is SO well produced for success with science at any age and any level. Every experiment is new, interesting, enticing. The titles catch your interest. It's hard to choose where to stare because the titles are wonderful!

I have to admit that at first I was less than impressed; wow, this is basically just a little plastic blender / frother with some cutsie activities. But after just teaching a beginning science class at our little parochial school about properties of liquids, emulsions, mixtures, and the like, I find that many of the concepts are presented in this excellent instructor / student manual.It is so refreshing to receive a product that is made in China, yet the instructions and books are written in decent English *. As a teacher, I'm impressed with the thought that went into this. It would be ideal for homeschool science beginners, parents, or grandparents. This is definitely best for the 4 to 6 crowd; older children could become a bit bored I think. But a lot of that is in presentation!This is a kit that is meant for doing as an activity with your child; you will probably get out of it what you put into it. Just for the fact it's well thought out, even though it's really just using home ingredients you could probably provide yourself, I'm giving this five stars.* I did spot one error, where the title of the student page is incorrect (see final photo); they used the title of the experiment previously by mistake. Not a huge deal. But I hope the author is watching and maybe corrects this, because otherwise the editing seems to be really good.

Is you learn while you play and is created by PhD science educator inventor it’s supposed to be perfect for homework or classrooms, easy step-by-step. Instructions of experiences made with kitchen ingredients and quick and easy cleanup! Like an awesome Lil homeschool learning in a book and cup kit. You learn density layering, explore color, mixing understand, emotional vacation, practice, measuring, and following steps, discover cause-and-effect and it’s all safe hands-on chemistry experiments! It’s such a cool fun way to bring science into your home and give a more magic aspect to whimsical way of learning ❤️

Wow--what a fun science kit on mixtures/solutions! I got this to do with my grandchildren, ages 6-12. Three of them are homeschooled so my daughter was super excited to have electrical science experiments to do with the kids.The kit arrived on time and was exactly as described. The kit includes the Magic Mixer cup (which your child can be decorate with the included stickers), a printed experiment student workbook , and a teacher/parent guide. The only items that you need to provide are common household items: AAA batteries, small tray/baking sheet, sugar, lemon juice, paper towels, dish soap, milk, water, etc.The instructions are step-by-step and contain pictures, which will make it easy for the children to follow them. The student workbook also has questions throughout the experiment that the student needs to answer in the workbook, as well as a space for the student to draw pictures of what they witnessed,as well as follow-up questions. Some experiments include word wall words, that could be used for spelling words.I was a teacher for 38 years and I wish that the experiments in our science books had been this well organized. I can't wait to do these experiments with my grandchildren!If you are looking for STEM activities on mixtures to do with your children, I think you would be very pleased if you purchase this kit!

I picked this up for my 11-year-old daughter's science fair projects, figuring it'd beat digging through random kitchen stuff for experiments.The mixer is super handy—bladeless so no worries about little fingers, and it whips up emulsions and foams perfectly for those chemistry demos like making elephant toothpaste. We've done about 8 of the 30 experiments, and the workbook's PhD-level guides actually teach real NGSS concepts without feeling like homework; my kid explained polymers to me after one. Plus, everything's safe household ingredients, no weird chemicals.That said, some mixes get messy (hello, overflow on the volcano one), the base feels a bit cheap plastic-y after a few uses, and a couple instructions assume you know basic ratios, which tripped us up once.Tip: Measure everything ahead and use a big tray under it. Also, start with the easier ones to build confidence.Overall, it's a solid home STEM kit if you're patient—fun learning with real ""aha"" moments, but not a set-it-and-forget-it toy. We'd grab more refills.

I loved science experiments as a kid so I ordered this for myself and my grandson who is almost 3 to use. There are 30 different experiments to try each one with their own lesson to learn. This is very much set up for a teacher to use but also easy enough for us non teachers as well. Some of these experiments will appeal to younger kids and some to older ones so this can cover a pretty good age range. Obviously at 3 my grandson does not get the science behind why its happening he just likes to see it happen and know that he made it happen. We will be able to use this as he gets older for learning why. I have a feeling I will be using this book and mixer for a long time. Also I love the fact that it uses household items so nothing special to purchase.
